ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome to FlyNewts,

My name is George and I am currently a Spacecraft Systems Engineer and PPL holder since 2017.

I started flying in 2015 with a trial flight at my home airfield and ever since I was hooked. Over a two and a bit year process of learning to fly whilst also studying at university, I managed to gain my PPL in approximately 50 hours; you can find out more about my flight training in my blogs section.

I have always been passionate about aviation and am fortunate enough to able to work within the aerospace sector as my job and have flying as a hobby. I am hoping to continue in my flight training to gain addition ratings which I will be sharing with you all along the way.

The sense of community that aviation has provided me with and the opportunity to promote and inspire those who haven't thought about aerospace as a career is what encourages me to share my flights with the world.
